Games Played 10 July 2013
These are the games played last night. Another play for Tzolk'in. Industrial Waste has now been played at least once every year since the records started in 2003.

Had a blast last night.
ReplyDeleteTzolkin for me was noteworthy in that I started with an extra worker and then got my final 2 workers before the first feeding round. Still ended with a rather poor score but not as bad as Dave's!
Kingdom Builder - I was next to only one terrain type following my first placement. I then proceeded to draw that terrain type for a total of 4 consecutive turns. I don't think I have had this happen to me in the 50+ games I've played. My score was a wash out with Scott taking the second win of the night.
The first time we played, Dave D had, I believe, six desert cards consecutively. Needless to say, he won't play it again...
ReplyDeleteSlight correction, it was 5 out of my last 6 cards added to the fact that in the first couple of turns I had picked a couple of bonus tiles allowing me to place extra houses in Desert.
ReplyDeleteI know the luck can swing around a bit but at 30-45 minutes it is not something that kills the game for me.
DeleteYou two are just bad losers :-) Why, oh, why didn't I discover these weekly reports before now? It is very rare occasion when I win two games in a row, and I would have loved to gloat closer to the time!
