To catch up I'm going to post a number of probably shortish reports, which will allow me to intertwine some other items which Mike has sent me.
With better weather than the previous 2 weeks, we had 10 people with Steve and Nigel down from Telford way and welcoming Colin for the first time. On one table Louis XIV had another run out, while we played BSG for the first time this year. We were a bit late starting and were going to play the game to the Kobol objective, with the thought that this would be shorter. In any case we still didn't quite make it to the finish.
I was Cavil, Colin (in his first game) played Apollo, Andrew – Chief Tyrol, Andy – President Tom Zarek, Dave F – William Adama & Donald – Admiral Helena Cain. Colin actually ended up as Admiral at the end as both Cain and Adama were revealed to be Cylons. I have to say that in this case, I as a Cylon leader seemed somewhat powerless to affect the course of the game, but that's the way it sometimes goes. At the end the humans had lost a lot of population and morale, but reached 8 distance so I would not have liked to call the final result.
